A CHRISTMAS CAROL?


Ghosts of Mayor’s Past, Present, and Future will join demonstration at City Hall outside mayor’s officeWHO: The Kensington Welfare Rights Union, a multi-racial group of poor and homeless families of the city of Philadelphia who are fighting for affordable housing. ADAPT (American Disabled for Attendant Programs Today), community activists fighting for accessible housing.

WHAT: A protest outside of the Mayor’s Office to demand affordable, accessible housing. Simultaneously, a city sponsored memorial service for the homeless will be taking place.

WHY: To demand that the Mayor listen to those suffering this holiday season from the lack of affordable, accessible housing in the city of Philadelphia.
