Welfare
Reform
The 5-year lifetime limit for public assistance
has long passed in Pennsylvania. Over 12,112 people have lost their
benefits for life. This means that these families have lost the
only way to feed, clothe and house themselves. More than 70% of
these families live in Philadelphia. 1/3 of these families were
working.
